Definition and Usage
The <p> tag is used to define the HTML paragraph element. The paragraph element begins with the HTML <p> tag and ends with the HTML </p> tag. The HTML paragraph element should not contain tables and other block elements. This HTML element is one of the basic HTML tags you should learn to use properly. When a block of text is surrounded by the paragraph tags, the browser automatically adds white space before and after the paragraph.<p> tag is not the best tag to use. It's a good idea to become familiar with other HTML tags that have a more specific purpose. Examples include <footer>, <address>, <blackquote>to name a few.
