Definition and Usage
The <basefont> tag specifies a default text-color, font-size, or font-family for all the text in a document.The HTML <basefont> tag is used to specify a base font for the document to use. This base font is applied to complete document. This tag is depreciated now. <basefont> tag use in head section as well as body section. <basefont> element cannot contain any tags. The HTML basefont element (<basefont>) establishes a default font size for a document. Font size then can be varied relative to the base font size using the <font> element.
